Season 1 (2002)Kelly Clarkson returned as a coach for season 30 of NBC's The Voice, which NBC scheduled to premiere on September 21, 2026. In July 2026 she released the single "I'd Be Lyin'", reported as the lead single of a planned 11th studio album, and her Studio Sessions residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas ran until August 15, 2026. Her daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, ends with its seventh season in fall 2026.
Season 2 (2003)Ruben Studdard performs as a solo R&B singer. His official website listed 2025 concert dates from July 30 to September 6, 2025, in Detroit, Temecula, Portsmouth, Old Saybrook and Boston. His latest studio album, The Way I Remember It, came out on SoNo Recording Group (SRG/ILS) in October 2023, and in 2024 he competed with Clay Aiken on The Masked Singer.
Season 3 (2004)Fantasia Barrino is set to headline The Love of Soul Tour, a 24-date U.S. arena tour with Anthony Hamilton and October London from February to May 2027, announced in September 2026. She is also in the cast of Tyler Perry's The Gospel of Christmas, a Netflix holiday film on the service's 2026 slate.
Season 4 (2005)Carrie Underwood is a judge on American Idol, the show she won in 2005. In September 2026 she was confirmed for season 25, her third season on the panel, which is expected to air in 2027. Her most recent studio album is Denim & Rhinestones (2022), and her Las Vegas residency Reflection ran from December 2021 to its scheduled final shows in April 2025.
Season 5 (2006)Taylor Hicks made his Grand Ole Opry debut on June 16, 2023, after releasing the single Porch Swing in February 2023. He has released music on Modern Whomp since 2008, after Arista and 19 Recordings from 2006 to 2008.
Season 6 (2007)Jordin Sparks released her fifth studio album, No Restrictions, in September 2024, and a holiday EP, Joy, with the music company Epidemic Sound in November 2024. Her discography lists further non-album singles in 2025, including Safe to Me and Who Cares?.
Season 7 (2008)David Cook releases music on his own label, Analog Heart Music. In July 2026 he announced U.S. tour dates from July 14 to 30 behind the single Bleed Me Dry, and The Villain, a three-track EP set for release on July 31, 2026, which continues a series of themed EPs that began with The Hero in 2025.
Season 8 (2009)Kris Allen records and releases music independently through his own DogBear Records imprint. He released the album Pole Vaulter on August 30, 2024. A December 13, 2025 event listing billed him as a featured guest at Jon McLaughlin's "Home For The Holidays" concert in Bloomington, Indiana.
Season 9 (2010)Lee DeWyze is a singer-songwriter. His album Gone For Days was released in August 2024 on Mavelle Records. In 2026 he was booked for concerts including the Fairfield Theatre Company in Connecticut on January 27 and the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix on June 28. His songs have been licensed to more than 100 shows, films and commercials.
Season 10 (2011)Scotty McCreery records for Triple Tigers. On July 17, 2026 he released 15, a retrospective album of earlier hits and four new recordings. He hosts a monthly show on SiriusXM Prime Country, and in August 2026 he said he expects to play fewer concerts but does not plan to retire.
Season 11 (2012)Phillip Phillips now releases music independently under the name Phil Phil Music. He issued the five-song EP Let's Go Far: Vol. 1 on September 4, 2026, and announced a North American headlining tour set to start in Dallas on September 10, 2026. Earlier in 2026 he finished second on season 14 of The Masked Singer.
Season 12 (2013)Candice Glover released Music Speaks on February 18, 2014, through 19 Recordings and Interscope Records. The album reached No. 14 on the Billboard 200. On January 8, 2016 she said she had parted ways with those labels and would release her next album independently. She sang on Broadway in Home For the Holidays from November 17 to December 30, 2017, and in 2019 she played Tiana in GRITS: Girls Raised in the South.
Season 13 (2014)Caleb Johnson released Mountain Mojo Vol. 1 on June 18, 2021, and sang lead on Paradise Found: Bat Out of Hell Reignited, released on January 27, 2023. In May 2023 he toured the United Kingdom with the Neverland Express. In 2019, Caleb Johnson & The Ramblin' Saints released Born from Southern Ground on his label, Big Johnson Records.
Season 14 (2015)Nick Fradiani, the season 14 winner, was lead singer of Beach Avenue and released Hurricane on August 5, 2016. He parted with Big Machine Label Group and 19 Entertainment in January 2017, released Where We Left Off on October 13, 2017, and Past My Past on November 25, 2022. He played Neil Diamond-Then in A Beautiful Noise on Broadway and on the tour billed through July 12, 2026.
Season 15 (2016)Trent Harmon received a recording contract with Big Machine Records when he won American Idol on April 7, 2016, and he parted ways with Big Machine in May 2019. The EP Trent Harmon came out on December 9, 2016, on 19 Recordings. The album You Got 'Em All came out on May 18, 2018, on Big Machine Records, and had sold 4,500 copies in the United States as of June 2018. On May 30, 2025, he released the Christian EP Scars & Sins on Soul Chaser LLC.
Season 16 (2018)Maddie Poppe released the independent album Songs from the Basement on June 20, 2016, and Whirlwind with Hollywood Records and 19 Recordings on May 17, 2019. In 2025 she released a cover of Rainbow Connection.
Season 17 (2019)Hardy released the three-song EP In the Bayou on May 18, 2018. By June 26, 2019 he had signed with Hollywood Records, and Flame came out on May 19, 2019. Here's to Anyone came out on September 17, 2021. By October 30, 2024 he had said he left Disney Music Group the previous year. Back of My Mind came out on January 17, 2025.
Season 18 (2020)Just Sam signed with Hollywood Records and 19 Recordings after winning in May 2020 and left the label about a year later without releasing an album. They released independent singles in 2021 and said in 2023 that they had gone back to singing in New York City subways for money. By late 2023 they had signed with an agent at CrowdMGMT, and on April 28, 2024 they returned to American Idol as a guest performer.
Season 19 (2021)Chayce Beckham, winner of American Idol in 2021, records for Wheelhouse Records with 19 Recordings. His single "23," which he wrote, reached number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart dated April 6, 2024, and was certified platinum in the United States. His debut album, Bad for Me, came out on April 5, 2024. He released the EP Old Fashioned on September 25, 2026.
Season 20 (2022)Noah Thompson won American Idol on May 22, 2022. 19 Recordings and BBR released the EP Middle of God Knows Where on June 9, 2023. One Day Tonight reached number 48 on Hot Country Songs. In May 2024 19 Recordings confirmed he was no longer on its roster, and on June 11, 2024 he said he would continue as an independent artist. Next Chapter Records released Upbringing in August 2024, and Find Em in a Bar followed in September 2025. He is a writer on Front Door Famous, the first song on Luke Combs's Fathers & Sons.
Season 21 (2023)William Guy Tongi, who performs as Iam Tongi, won American Idol season 21 in 2023. He released Dreams in 2020 and I'll Be Seeing You in May 2023, then the singles Why Kiki? and Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride. On March 13, 2026, 19 Recordings, Inc. released his debut album Good For My Soul.
Season 22 (2024)Abi Carter won American Idol on May 19, 2024. She released the 10-track album ghosts in the backyard on November 15, 2024 on Ethos Music Group, and a deluxe edition on April 25, 2025. She has not signed with a record label.
Season 23 (2025)Jamal Roberts released his debut album, The Journey, on October 2, 2026, through 19 Recordings under exclusive license to BMG. At the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in 2026 he was nominated for Best Gospel Performance/Song for Still (Live) with Jonathan McReynolds. After his 2025 American Idol win, he joined Brandy and Monica on The Boy Is Mine Tour.
Season 24 (2026)After winning season 24 in May 2026, Hannah Harper released the singles "Married Into This Town" (July 2026) and "Hold Your Horses" (September 2026) through 19 Recordings/Atlantic Outpost. She is touring with her family band on her String Cheese Tour, scheduled to run through November 14, 2026, and was announced for select fall 2026 dates supporting Brad Paisley and Lauren Alaina.
The Voice season 1 (2011)Javier Colon, also billed as Javier, sang lead with the Derek Trucks Band from August 2000 to April 2002 and released two Capitol Records albums, in 2003 and 2006. On June 29, 2011 he received $100,000 and a Universal Republic contract. Concord released his album Gravity in 2016. In 2025 he performed in Mexico and Barbados on the Barbados Jazz Excursion, and he has returned for The Voice: Battle of Champions All-Star Showdown.
The Voice season 2 (2012)Jermaine Paul, born Jeremiah Jermaine Paul, joined the group 1Accord, which signed to T.W.Is.M. Records in 1994. Alicia Keys's recording of If This World Were Mine, featuring Paul, was nominated at the 2006 Grammys. His cover of I Believe I Can Fly reached number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2012. He has been an ordained United Methodist minister since 2012 and, as of 2025, is pastor of Golden Hill United Methodist Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The Voice season 3 (2012)Cassadee Pope was the lead singer of Hey Monday, whose album Hold On Tight came out in October 2008. She signed with Republic Nashville in January 2013. Frame by Frame came out on October 8, 2013 and reached number 9 on the Billboard 200. Wasting All These Tears reached number 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Platinum. She and Chris Young were Grammy nominees for Think of You. Hereditary came out on July 12, 2024.
The Voice season 4 (2013)Danielle Bradbery signed with Big Machine Records on June 19, 2013. Her albums Danielle Bradbery and I Don't Believe We've Met reached the Billboard 200. Danielle, her first independent album, came out on DB Records on September 6, 2024. A music video for Cowgirl's Prayer followed in April 2026.
The Voice season 5 (2013)Tessanne Chin released the independent album In Between Words on December 6, 2010. Count On My Love came out on July 1, 2014, on Republic Records and debuted at number 41 on the Billboard 200. Bridge over Troubled Water, I Have Nothing, and Let It Be reached the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013. Fire followed in 2015 on Justice League Music Group. In 2018 she appeared on Let Me Love You with GrooveGalore and Honorebel, also on Honorebel's 2019 album Above The Noise.
The Voice season 6 (2014)Josh Kaufman is a soul singer and songwriter based in Indianapolis. He is a member of The New Etiquette, formed in 2010. He was the final actor to play the title role in the 2013 Broadway revival of Pippin, which closed in early 2015.
The Voice season 7 (2014)Craig Wayne Boyd moved to Nashville in 2004 and released the albums Craig Boyd in 2008 and I Ain't No Quitter in 2013. After his season of The Voice he signed with Universal Republic and Dot Records. My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face reached No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on Hot Country Songs. In early May 2015 it was reported that he had parted ways with Dot. He released Top Shelf in 2017. In 2020 he formed Texas Hill, and in 2023 he said he was no longer a member.
The Voice season 8 (2015)Sawyer Fredericks released the album No Need to Wonder on April 22, 2025. He showcased at Folk Alliance International in New Orleans in January 2026, and a West Coast leg of that album's tour was scheduled for June 2026. He announced on January 12, 2017, that he had left Republic Records.
The Voice season 9 (2015)Jordan Smith, also named Jordan Mackenzie Smith, released The People's Hymnal on February 21, 2024. Something Beautiful reached number 2 on the Billboard 200. Seven songs from his season of The Voice entered the Billboard Hot 100, and Somebody to Love reached number 21. He placed third in the American Song Contest grand final on May 9, 2022, with Sparrow.
The Voice season 10 (2016)Alisan Porter is a pop, rock, and country singer, actress, and dancer. At age five she won Star Search, and in 1991 she played the lead in Curly Sue. She later sang on Broadway, released her own albums from 2009, and released the album Porter on September 18, 2026. In April 2024 she had just completed a fourth season as a coach on The Masked Singer.

The Voice season 12 (2017)Chris Blue released Foundations: The Hymns of My Heart on June 7, 2024, on Gaither Music. Fresh Start came out on September 20, 2019. As of December 19, 2025, he was NewLife's praise and worship director in Knoxville, was producing new music, was traveling with the Gaither Homecoming series, and had performed in the 48th Kennedy Center Honors.
The Voice season 13 (2017)Chloe Kohanski records as sweet93, and she earlier recorded as chloe mk. On December 19, 2017 she won a $100,000 prize and a Universal Music Group record deal, and she was signed to Republic Records after that season. She released Come This Far on May 22, 2018, the EP Fantasy on July 19, 2019, and the album All the Same All Ok on November 19, 2021 on special baby records. In 2025 she released the single i wanna.
The Voice season 14 (2018)Brynn Cartelli won The Voice at 15, the youngest winner of the show, and received $100,000 and a record deal with Republic Records. She signed with Atlantic Records in December 2018 and opened Kelly Clarkson's Meaning of Life Tour from January 24, 2019. Her EP Based on a True Story came out on May 28, 2021. Elektra Records released her debut album Out of the Blue on March 1, 2024.
The Voice season 15 (2018)Chevel Shepherd was the first country winner of The Voice who was not coached by Blake Shelton. Her 2018 single Broken Hearts reached number 24 on Hot Country Songs. On May 26, 2019, she sang God Bless America before the Indianapolis 500. A two-track release titled Everybody's Got a Story is dated March 2020, and an album of the same title is dated 2021. She acted in Vengeance in 2022 and in Wildfire: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse in 2023.
The Voice season 16 (2019)Maelyn Jarmon, from Frisco, Texas, is a folk singer. After she won The Voice, she was signed to Republic Records. Republic released The Voice: The Complete Season 16 Collection on May 31, 2019, and that EP reached No. 173 on the Billboard 200. In 2024 she played Cathy in The Last Five Years. In 2026 she played Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar at Broadway Sacramento.
The Voice season 17 (2019)Jake Hoot was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and graduated from Tennessee Tech in 2013. Better Off Without You reached number 36 on Hot Country Songs. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut on February 4, 2020. In 2021 he released the EP Love Out of Time, including the duet I Would've Loved You with Kelly Clarkson, and on October 14, 2022 he released the single B4U.
The Voice season 18 (2020)Todd Tilghman, from Meridian, Mississippi, had released Holy Place through StowTown Records by March 14, 2025. On July 1, 2025, he announced that he was joining TrueSong. Long Way Home reached No. 1 on the iTunes country chart and No. 1 on the iTunes overall chart.
The Voice season 19 (2020)Carter Rubin won a record deal with Republic Records, a Universal Music Group label, on December 15, 2020. He released the EP i still know nothing on July 12, 2024. By October 9, 2026, the EP something i'll never unsee was out, and a Nashville headline show was scheduled for October 22, 2026.
The Voice season 20 (2021)Cam Anthony, born Camren Anthony Sherman in Philadelphia, signed with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment as a teenager. He won the 2018 FOX revival of Showtime at the Apollo. After The Voice he released Keep It Between Us in 2022. As of March 2024 he had no debut album, and he had been asked to sing the national anthem at a March 2024 Lakers game.
The Voice season 21 (2021)Girl Named Tom, the sibling trio of Bekah, Caleb, and Joshua Liechty, formed in 2019 and later released music on Republic Records, including One More Christmas on November 11, 2022. The group later parted ways with Republic. Wilder Then came out on July 11, 2025, and Dust to Dust came out in April 2026.
The Voice season 22 (2022)Bryce Leatherwood is a country singer from Woodstock, Georgia. On December 13, 2022, his season result included a $100,000 prize and a Universal Music Group record deal. On October 23, 2023, Universal Music Group Nashville announced a deal in alliance with Republic Records. Mercury Nashville released his self-titled album on May 16, 2025. In 2026 he released Beers and Ballads.
The Voice season 23 (2023)Gina Miles is a pop singer from Paxton, Illinois. In 2022 she released Incredibly Impatient, and on January 28, 2022, she released the EP Who Are You on Farm To Label Records. On May 23, 2023, the season result included $100,000 and a Republic Records deal. She released Wicked Game through Republic Records on May 17, 2024, and Hypnotized in 2025. On December 16, 2025, she sang a holiday duet with Aiden Ross on the season 28 finale.
The Voice season 24 (2023)Huntley, also known as Michael Huntley, reached the Hollywood rounds of American Idol season 14 and was never shown on that broadcast. He won Fredericksburg Idol, played in heavy metal cover bands, busked in Nashville, and in 2022 independently released Holdin' On. On December 19, 2023 he received $100,000 and a deal with Republic Records, which released him from the contract in May 2024. He released Tell Me When It's Over on August 21, 2024, Skyline Drive in 2024, and Fire and Flames in 2025.
The Voice season 25 (2024)Asher HaVon is from Selma, Alabama. In 2015 a choir he led performed Glory for Barack Obama in Selma, and in 2018 he independently released the single Free. On May 21, 2024 he received $100,000 and a Republic Records deal. He appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show on May 28, 2024, and on December 10, 2024 he performed his single Thank You. He is the first openly LGBTQ winner of The Voice.
The Voice season 26 (2024)Sofronio Vasquez, also known as Sofronio Parojinog Vasquez III, finished seventh on Tawag ng Tanghalan season 2 and third on the 2019 all-star season. He worked as a dental hygienist and as a singer for Carnival Cruise Line. On December 10, 2024 he received $100,000 and a Universal Music Group contract. In 2025 he performed at Malacañang and at the State of the Nation Address, signed with Star Magic, and gave a debut solo concert in Cebu. In 2026 he appeared on Your Face Sounds Familiar, Rainbow Rumble, and Drag Race Philippines.
The Voice season 27 (2025)Adam David is an American blues and soul singer-songwriter from Fort Lauderdale. In 2014 he independently released the EP EP, Vol. One. On May 20, 2025 he received $100,000 and a record deal with Republic Records. While competing he released Savior, his first single in eleven years. On September 20, 2025 he played a hometown show in Pompano Beach. In 2026 he recorded Rockets at home for the NPR Tiny Desk Contest.
The Voice season 28 (2025)Aiden Ross is an American pop and soul singer-songwriter from College Station, Texas. In September 2025 he released his debut single, Everything and More. On December 16, 2025 he received $100,000 and a Republic Records contract, and he became the first Aggie to win The Voice. On January 1, 2026 he released Love Her Anyway.
The Voice season 29 (2026)Alexia Jayy is an American soul singer. She released Who Raised You in May 2021 and the EP Mixed Emotions in September 2025. On April 14, 2026 she received $100,000 and a Republic Records deal, and she became the first African-American woman to win The Voice. Rent Free, with Eric Gales, followed the win. By September 21, 2026 she had also released Brag and Find The Door. Good Example of Love came out on September 25, 2026. In 2026 she sang at the BET Awards in a tribute to Lauryn Hill.
The X Factor season 1 (2011)Melanie Amaro, also named Melanie Ann Amaro, received a $5 million recording contract with Syco Music and a Sony Music label in December 2011. Epic Records announced her signing on January 3, 2012. She released Don't Fail Me Now on August 1, 2012 and Long Distance on December 3, 2012. The album Truly was never released. She released Fuel My Fire independently on June 26, 2014, Dust (featuring Fabolous) on May 6, 2015, and The One on February 17, 2016. By January 2018 she was signed to Moorehouse Music Group.
The X Factor season 2 (2012)Stephen Eatinger performs as Tate Stevens. He was lead singer of the Dixie Cadillacs, which released an album in June 1996 on Calf Creek Records, and lead singer of the Outlaw Junkies from about 2005 until 2008. His 2012 win carried a $5 million recording contract with Syco and RCA Records Nashville. A January 15, 2013 news release said he had signed with Syco Music and RCA Records Nashville. The album Tate Stevens came out on April 23, 2013 and reached number 18 on the Billboard 200. The EP Sweet Life came out on May 17, 2016 on Nizzers Music, INC.
The X Factor season 3 (2013)Alex & Sierra released It's About Us on Columbia on October 7, 2014. The album reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 and had sold 86,000 copies in the United States as of August 2016. Columbia dropped the duo in 2015, around July. The EP As Seen on TV came out on September 30, 2016, and reached number 183 on the Billboard 200. On September 1, 2017, they announced that they would no longer make music together. In 2020, Little Do You Know was certified 2× Platinum.
