Privacy
How Encore Index handles data about visitors.
What the site collects
Encore Index has no user accounts, forms or comments. The site keeps no data about visitors on its own servers. Cloudflare, the host, processes each request (for example the IP address) to deliver the page and to protect the site.
Google Analytics and cookies
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits. Each page loads a script from Google, and the script sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell visits apart. Google receives the page address, the page you came from, details of your browser and device, and an approximate location from your IP address.
You can also block or delete cookies in the settings of your browser. The site works without them.
YouTube API Services
Profiles can show public statistics of a contestant’s YouTube channel (subscribers and views). Encore Index uses YouTube API Services to get these figures when the site is updated. The site does not use YouTube API Services to collect, store or share data about visitors, and it shows no YouTube videos. Google’s handling of data is in the Google Privacy Policy.
Profiles and a ranking can show the public follower count of a contestant’s professional Instagram account. Encore Indexgets these figures from the Instagram Graph API (Meta) when the site is updated. The site sends no data about visitors to Meta.
When you send a correction by email, Encore Index receives your email address and your message. They are used only to answer you and to check the correction.
