Stephen Eatinger performs as Tate Stevens. He was lead singer of the Dixie Cadillacs, which released an album in June 1996 on Calf Creek Records, and lead singer of the Outlaw Junkies from about 2005 until 2008. His 2012 win carried a $5 million recording contract with Syco and RCA Records Nashville. A January 15, 2013 news release said he had signed with Syco Music and RCA Records Nashville. The album Tate Stevens came out on April 23, 2013 and reached number 18 on the Billboard 200. The EP Sweet Life came out on May 17, 2016 on Nizzers Music, INC.

The Dixie Cadillacs, with Stevens as lead singer, released an album in June 1996 on Calf Creek Records. The album title is not stated.

Around 2005 Stevens became lead singer of the Outlaw Junkies with Steve Koken and Robert Harmon. He left in 2008.
