Jeffrey Adam Gutt has been the lead vocalist of Stone Temple Pilots since 2017. The band announced him as its singer on November 14, 2017. The band's 2018 album Stone Temple Pilots, on Rhino, reached number 24 on the Billboard 200. Perdida followed on Rhino on February 7, 2020. Earlier he sang lead in Dry Cell, which Warner Bros. Records signed and then released from its contract, and in 2012 he was eliminated at the boot-camp stage of The X Factor.
